Video production is a time-consuming effort. Set-up, recording, transcribing and editing often takes longer than most people realize.
Our prices are reflective of the amount of time and resources we dedicate to producing a finished final product.
SERVICES:
Virtual oral history interview (1-2 hour interview): $900 (recording quality is dependent on how good one's internet connection and bandwidth is); additional $250 if you wish for up to 50 photos to be included, additional photos past 50 will incur an additional charge of $5 per photo
NOTE ABOUT THE INCLUSION OF PHOTOGRAPHS:
If you have photographs you would like scanned to illustrate something discussed in the interview, we are happy to work with you to add the photos when we edit. You can either send us the photos electronically as high-resolution scans to a Dropbox we will provide you or you can send us the photos via a courier service (Fedex, UPS) for us to scan and send back to you via UPS and will send you the tracking number. We will take great care with your photographs, but please note we are not responsible for any photos lost in shipping so we suggest you scan them yourself if you fear sending them via post.
